ABOUT CASTROVIEJO BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU
Welcome to Castroviejo Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, where we offer authentic Gi and No-Gi classes for both children and adults in Redwood City, California. Our academy is dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming environment for learning and practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Our mission is to promote the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu by offering exceptional training programs that cater to all skill levels. We focus on building confidence, discipline, and physical fitness while fostering a sense of community among our members.
Lead instructor and Academy owner, Leandro Castroviejo has over 20 years of experience in BJJ. Leandro has won more than 50 medals competing at the highest levels.
In October 2024, after six years as part of the Charles Gracie network of academies, Leandro struck out on his own to create Castroviejo Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy.
Class Schedule
The Academy will be closed on the following federal holidays. Note: If a holiday falls on a Monday or Friday, the academy will remain closed throughout the weekend. Federal holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.
